Linskill is holding its first ever Fitness Fundraiser on Wednesday 26th September to encourage the community to get active, meet people and support Franks Fight against Neuroblastoma, to raise funds for pioneering treatment in the USA.
Working with @EnergieTyne two exercise bikes will be set up in reception so staff, tenants and members of the community can take turn to pedal in the 12 hour cycle relay (8am-8pm). For the more competitive there will be leader board challenges with spot prizes for press-ups, sit-ups, planking and more.
Running alongside these activities will be a Fitathon, offering access to a programme of exercise classes ranging from aerobics, piyo, clubbercise and more. A £5 Fitathon ticket is available from reception enabling you to try a range of exercises and you can participate in as few or as many classes as you like (11.30am-4pm).
The Linskill Nursery staff are also supporting Fit for Frank by organising a sponsored buggy-push and a sponsored bounce for both adults and children.
The aim of the day is to try new fitness activities, have fun and raise funds via donations and sponsorship for #Franks_Fight. More information and tickets are available from reception on 0191 257 8000 or just turn up and join in on the day and help raise funds .
