Five star Seaham Hall Hotel and Serenity Spa is offering those frazzled by the Christmas festivities the chance to relax and unwind at the first-of-its-kind event on Sunday 18 January.
The hotel and spa, which overlooks the Durham heritage coastline, has planned a day long programme of instructor-led yoga and meditation sessions and workshops.
In addition, guests will enjoy full use of the Serenity Spa’s facilities, which include a crystal light sanarium, black granite steam room and 20 metre massage pool, along with an 80-minute spa treatment using products by Elemis or Darphin.
They will also be treated to a two course lunch in the Serenity Spa’s Ozone Restaurant, from a pan-Asian menu created by executive chef Simon Bolsover.
“After the strains and excesses of the festive period, the Serenity Spa offers a tranquil and soothing oasis of calm,” said Serenity Spa director Davina Hassell.
“With the help of professional yoga instructors we aim to help our guests face the year ahead in a clear, well balanced and stress-free frame of mind.”
The Serenity Spa Yoga Retreat costs £200 per person and those wishing to extend their stay can do so with an overnight stay, priced at £350, or a two night stay, at £500 per person.
Spaces are limited and can be booked by calling 0191 516 1400 or visiting www.seaham-hall.co.uk.
