An employability workshop run by County Durham Housing Group takes place on Thursday, 26 May from 10am to 12.30pm at Woodhouse Close Children’s Centre.

County Durham Housing Group’s Employment and Skills Officer, Claire Maddison, said: “Our free course helps attendees to apply for suitable jobs by identifying their strengths and preferences.

“We’ll also be providing expert advice about what to put on application forms and – just as importantly – the pitfalls to avoid.

“Anyone wanting further information, or to book their free place at our workshop, should email employability@cdhg.co.uk or call us on 0191 349 7657.”

County Durham Housing Group’s Employment and Skills Team provides support to tenants of Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes to find a job, access training, gain apprenticeships and venture into self-employment.
