Free Microchipping Event in Great Ayton

Hambleton dog owners have the chance to get their pet microchipped for free later this month.

The district council is joining forces with the Dogs Trust to provide the free session as part of work to make sure all dogs are microchipped by April 2016.

Microchipping helps identify dogs if they get lost or stolen and is the single most effective way to get a dog returned to its owner.

From 6 April new laws will mean all dogs must be microchipped.

The session on 16 February takes place at the Parochial Hall, Guisborough Road, Great Ayton from 11am until 3pm.    No appointment is needed.
