It’s shaping up to be an exciting finish to the 2016-17 season and we are at the stage of the campaign where every win is crucial.

Five games take place on an action-packed Friday night with London Lions and Plymouth Raiders taking their identical league records into their clash live on BBC Sport.

The Lions have won the last four meetings between the two sides with the visitors looking to re-build some momentum ahead of next week’s BBL Trophy Final.

Meanwhile, Worcester Wolves return to action following a two-week break and they host Leeds Force with the chance to draw level with one of London or Plymouth.

Paul James’ side are currently in seventh spot and Ashton Khan is wary of the threat Force pose following their recent win against London.

“They had a great win and will come in to this game with a lot of confidence,” he declared.

“We want to keep climbing the table and finish as high as possible.

“We had some time off and have come back refreshed and looking to continue what we have been doing lately.”

Esh Group Eagles Newcastle have an opportunity to close the gap on league leaders, Leicester Riders, this evening as they host Cheshire Phoenix.

Ben Thomas will continue to lead Phoenix with the club announcing that Robbie Peers will not return due to an ongoing personal situation.

A top-four clash takes place at EIS Sheffield as the Sharks welcome Glasgow Rocks with the chance to move within a single win behind their opponents.

The Rocks then host Bristol Flyers on Sunday, while Atiba Lyons’ side travel to face Cheshire in the second part of a weekend double-header for both sides.

Surrey Scorchers will be hoping to continue their push for a spot in the top eight tonight as they visit Manchester Giants.

The first game on our Sunday triple-header will see Leeds go up against Plymouth with both teams hoping they will go into the contest off the back of a win tonight.
