NORTH EAST businesses will gather on International Women’s Day (Wednesday 8 March 2017) to discuss and celebrate the groundbreaking work that is taking place to truly drive change for women in the region.
The free Be Bold For Change event, hosted by NatWest in association with Gordon Brown Law Firm LLP (GBLF), at the Entrepreneurial Spark hub is open to all – you don’t have to be a NatWest customer or a woman, gentlemen are very welcome.
International Women’s Day is a growing global day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the world. Each year the day is focused on a different theme and this year it is to be bold for change to help forge a better working world for women.
Speakers on the day will include Jacqueline Gallezzi-Ritchie, 2016 North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year; Alice Hall, founder of Pink Boutique; Jayne Hart from the HR Dept; Graeme Tennick of Graeme Tennick Accountants; and representatives from Reebok Crossfit Tyneside.
