Google is bringing its Google Digital Garage to Town Hall Chambers in Wallsend on Thursday 7th March, offering local people and businesses free advice and coaching on their digital skills to grow in their business, career or confidence.

The Google Digital Garage is one of Google’s flagship investment programmes in the UK, where anyone can come and learn free digital skills through a range of courses or 1:1 sessions. Since launching the Google Digital Garage in 2015, over 300,000 people have benefitted from Google’s free face-to-face training on digital know-how across 250 locations in the UK.

The FREE workshop will cover the following topics and we’ll be providing refreshments at the start and during the breaks.

Build a Digital Marketing Plan An introduction to the main digital marketing channels and how to use them to build strategy.

Social Media Strategy Learn how to create a social media strategy based on your business goals

Know your Business with Data Get to grips with data and how insights based on marketing can help your business grow
