Operating through the G-Cloud, the Government’s digital marketplace providing structured framework agreements between the Government and its digital suppliers, the contract includes managing and maintaining contact call centres across the country, as well as providing IT Support and Ethernet data circuits.
The successful communications company has now worked with the Government for 16 years, providing telephony and data services for HMRC Tax offices, Valuation Office Agency and more recently, the Department for Transport.
Using its valuable unified communications experience, the knowledgeable Main-Tel team has created and developed a hybrid cloud contact centre that has been specifically designed to achieve quick response times, incorporating a disaster recovery and co-location solution which was paramount to the design brief by Government.
Main-Tel’s managing director Tom Howson, said: “We are proud to be seen as a highly respected and valuable supplier to the Government departments we work with, especially as we are based in the North East.
“Our continuing work with our Government contracts proved we can support and maintain a large department with ease, which meant the Department for Transport had no hesitation in utilising us for similar services.”
“The contract has allowed us to re-invest in our core strengths of customer service, training and one-stop offerings. We see no reason for it not to continue for a long-time to come as they are extremely happy with our service and support and we are happy to be working with such important clients.”
Although Main-Tel has an international client base including prestigious fashion brands such as Giorgio Armani and Versace, it has always been a keen advocate of the North East, after having used additional revenue from its work with HMRC to provide loans to Teesside SMEs.
Main-Tel is very proud to part of the North East business community and prides itself in offering all its customers the same level of services that the Government contracts receive.
