Hambleton District Council’s ‘Ability Day’ in partnership with North Yorkshire Sport focused on inclusive sport which was open to everyone, regardless of ability.
The event at Hambleton Leisure Centre saw taster sessions in Boccia, football, New Age Curling, bike ability, gym sessions, dance and much more.
Stephen Miller, Paralympic world record, medal holder and newly awarded MBE attended the event to raise awareness of disability sport and inspired all participants in attendance.
And even Rishi Sunak, MP dropped in on the session to offer his support and encouragement to participants.
The next ability day scheduled will take place on the 27 of October.
