Hampson Auctions has confirmed its continued presence at Oulton Park in 2026, taking part in two major automotive events at the Cheshire circuit as part of its auction calendar.
The auction house will first appear at the Supercar Pageant at Oulton Park on Saturday 20 June 2026, an event that brings together some of the most exciting modern performance and supercars from across the UK and Europe.
Later in the summer, Hampson Auctions will return for its flagship sale during the prestigious Oulton Park Gold Cup weekend, taking place from Saturday 29 August to Monday 31 August 2026. This year’s event marks the 60th anniversary of the Oulton Park Gold Cup, one of the most historic and celebrated motorsport meetings in the UK. The Hampson Auctions Gold Cup sale is scheduled for Sunday 30 August 2026.
The Supercar Pageant event attracts hundreds of supercars and performance vehicles from manufacturers including Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche and Aston Martin. The event provides enthusiasts and collectors with the opportunity to experience some of the most desirable modern performance vehicles in a live motorsport environment.
Hampson Auctions will present a curated selection of collector and performance vehicles during the event, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to view potential consignments and meet the team ahead of the late-summer auction season.
The company’s flagship Gold Cup auction, held during the historic Oulton Park Gold Cup weekend, remains one of the most anticipated events in the Hampson Auctions calendar. The event attracts thousands of motorsport fans and collectors each year, combining historic racing with a specialist classic and performance car auction.
The sale will feature a diverse catalogue of classic cars, modern performance vehicles and collector models, offered to both room bidders and a global audience through Hampson Auctions’ hybrid live and online bidding platform.
Hampson Auctions traces its origins back to 1987 when the original Hampson Motor Auctions was established by Zach Hamilton’s great uncle in Cheshire. Operating from Winford Industrial Estate, the business became one of the first specialist motor auction houses in the UK to combine regular auctions with private sales. At the time the premises housed what was regarded as one of the largest private collections of specialist and collector vehicles in Europe, ranging from Ferrari F40s to pre-war icons such as the Bentley Blower.
The auction house has since been re-established by Zach Hamilton in 2020, continuing the Hampson name and building on the family’s heritage within the specialist car market. Since its relaunch, the Cheshire-based auction house has become a regular fixture at major automotive events including Oulton Park and Bolesworth.
Hampson Auctions also maintains a strong international customer base, regularly selling vehicles to buyers overseas including Australia, the United States and the Middle East, reflecting the continued global demand for British classic and performance cars.
Hampson Auctions will also continue its partnership with Bolesworth Castle in 2026, where the auction house regularly hosts specialist collector car sales alongside one of the UK’s most prestigious country estate venues. The collaboration has become a popular fixture for collectors and enthusiasts, bringing together classic, performance and collector vehicles in a unique historic setting.
In addition to its auction activities, Hampson Auctions will continue its support of The Joshua Tree Children’s Charity throughout 2026. The Cheshire-based charity provides vital support to families affected by childhood cancers, and the auction house remains committed to supporting the organisation through its events and fundraising initiatives.
Zach Hamilton of Hampson Auctions said the Oulton Park events continue to be a highlight of the auction calendar.
“Oulton Park provides a fantastic setting for enthusiasts, collectors and motorsport fans. Both the Supercar Pageant and Gold Cup weekend bring together an incredible variety of cars and a passionate audience, which creates a great atmosphere for both viewing and bidding.
We are already seeing strong interest from vendors looking to consign vehicles for the Gold Cup auction and expect a varied catalogue ranging from classic cars through to modern performance and collector vehicles.”
Entries are now being invited for the Hampson Auctions Gold Cup sale on Sunday 30 August 2026.
