HISTORIC LAMBTON BRICK LAID WITHIN FIRST PHASE OF NEW HOMES

Homebuyers can now reserve a new home at the historic Lambton Estate, one of which will feature a special Lambton brick dating back to the Victorian era in a nod to the estate’s heritage.

Online reservations are now open for Miller Homes at Lambton Park where work is well underway. The landmark residential scheme forms part of the high-profile redevelopment of Lambton Park near Chester-le-Street, which will help to maintain the estate’s legacy whilst opening it up to the public.

The development will comprise 106 high-quality three, four and five-bedroom homes along with one, two and three-bedroom apartments across two phases sympathetically designed in keeping with the heritage of the estate.

Homebuyers can now visit the sales centre to learn more about the housetypes available and make a reservation. The development’s five-bedroom showhome will open in the autumn.

Miller Homes was the first UK housebuilder to launch an online reservation system. The innovative platform allows buyers to reserve a new home and pay a reservation fee via the leading housebuilder’s website in a few simple steps, at a time and in a place convenient to them even if the sales centre is closed.

Andrew Somerville, sales director at Miller Homes North East, said: “Our plans for homes at Lambton Park are coming to life and it will be an incredibly special place to live. The estate’s long-standing heritage is acknowledged within the architectural design of the homes we’re building and the placement of the Lambton brick is an added significant touch.

“There has been high levels of interest in the development, and the release of this initial phase of homes marks an exciting milestone moment in this landmark project.”
