The group, featuring experienced performers Jim Murray and Pete Mason, will headline An Evening of Jazz at National Glass Centre’s Glass Yard on Friday July 1.
Organised by 1879 Events Management the event will include live music from the duo, who first met in the 1960s, as well as a three course meal, freshly prepared by its in-house chefs.
This includes an antipasti plate of cured meats with marinated vegetables and toasted ciabatta, thyme butter roasted chicken, served with a wild mushroom cream sauce and seasonal vegetables and a white chocolate and raspberry roulade with thickened cream and mixed berry compote.
An Evening of Jazz will be the first of two music nights being hosted by 1879 Events Management at The Glass Yard in July, with a blues evening following onJuly 31. Both events come in the wake of a successful Sounds of Summer season in 2015.
Steve Welch, Executive Head Chef at 1879 Events Management, which also manages private and corporate events at National Glass Centre said: “Our Sounds of Summer food and music nights proved a great success last year and we are delighted to have The Hokum Hotshots on board again.
“We’ve developed a menu that will perfectly compliment their jazz soundtrack and we cannot wait to cater for all those music fans next Friday.”
