Screen Shot 2015-09-21 at 10.19.20North Durham accountancy firm, Valued Accountancy has teamed up with a business networking club to offer an incentive to all new clients.

From 1st September, all new start-up clients of the company will be offered one year’s free membership to Durham Business Club (DBC) to help them grow their business, meet potential new customers, suppliers and access to like-minded businesses and entrepreneurs.

The company has just renewed its own subscription to the club and has been so impressed with its services and opportunities to network, they think that this will also benefit their own clients.

Established since 1981, DBC organises monthly club evening meetings and informal breakfast events to help businesses grow and gain access to information on business issues.

Valued Accountancy, which won the Xero Overall Accounting Partner of the Year award this year provides accountancy, consultancy and business support and is one of four Practice Studio Partners in the UK that provides consultancy and training to small and medium sized organisations by implementing software on behalf of Xero.

Stephen Paul, Owner and Managing Director of Valued Accountancy, said: “The large majority of our clients are small to medium sized businesses including new business start-ups.  Like any new business, there are so many things that need to put in place to get up and running such as accountants, solicitors and banks but finding new customers, partners and reliable suppliers is also equally as important to help you grow your business.

“Networking is a great way to achieve this where you will find support from other businesses and like-minded people.  We have been a member of DBC for a few years and felt that access to their network has not only helped us but it will also help our clients to.  It’s a win-win situation for everyone.”

Alison Gittins, Chief Executive of DBC, said: “We are delighted Valued Accountancy recongises the value and benefits of DBC membership for new business so much they plan to gift it to their own start-up clients.

“The passion and entrepreneurial spirit from Stephen and his team is so refreshing – it’s an exciting joint venture supporting more new businesses.”

The free membership provides businesses with access to the club networking events on the second evening of every Tuesday, monthly informal breakfast meetings, access to a legal helpline and regular updates via social media and the monthly e-newsletter.
