A Teesside based engineering firm with global reach has marked a successful period for the company with the sponsorship of local basketball club Teesside Lions.
INDUSTRO solutions will be featured on the rear of Lions home and away Jersey’s in the prominent position just above player name and its directors are excited to support the plans to bring professional basketball to the area.
John Betts, managing director of INDUSTRO with more than a decade of experience in the engineering industry, said:
“Joanne and I are delighted to become part of the Teesside Lion’s family. The passion and determination shown by James and Martin (Anderson, Commercial Director) has to be admired. The organisation ticks all the boxes from the grass roots and investing in the local community through to the long-term strategy of bringing professional basketball to Teesside.
“We are both very much looking forward to being involved in what is without doubt going to be a fantastic journey”.
INDUSTRO Solutions was created by Joanne and John in 2016, having both come from a heavy engineering background.
The pair had a vision to create a culture focused, forward thinking and value driven engineering business and see similarities in the principles at Lions.
INDUSTRO’s growth to date has been very encouraging and they look to continue the positive curve by increasing their portfolio of customers in oil & gas, mining and renewable sectors.
INDUSTRO occupy a modern fabrication workshop and office facilities based in the heart of Teesside and within walking distance to the Lions home arena. With a 7,000 sq ft capacity and 30+ employees they have the ability to undertake a large range of dynamic and bespoke projects from initial design and fabrication through to installation.
Complementing this period of growth is an investment plan for their staff to ensure quality is at the forefront of every aspect of the company.
