IoD Advance launches in the North

The Institute of Directors (IoD) is to launch IoD Advance – the biggest shake-up to its membership in four decades.

The new platform, which enables directors to connect, share and learn with likeminded business leaders using the latest technology, will be launched at the Radisson Blu hotel in Leeds on 25 January.

The free-to-attend launch night, starting at 5pm, will include a public speaking workshop with IoD Advance member Ges Ray, who helps people to overcome their fears, build confidence and win new business.

IoD Advance has been designed for directors to enhance their network, acquire new directorial skills and share their knowledge and expertise. The launch night will include a comprehensive introduction to the IoD Advance app.

Additional benefits of membership include a calendar of business events, professional introductions, personal development courses and interactive workshops.

Natalie Sykes, regional director of the IoD in Yorkshire and the North East, said: “IoD Advance is the latest innovation from the champions of business. It brings together state of the art technology, world class learning and facilitated professional connections, allowing members to share their wealth of knowledge.”

“Whether you’re new to the IoD, a previous member or an existing member, we’d love for you to come along and experience IoD Advance first-hand. We have, after all, developed this with you in mind.”
