Karol Marketing Scoops Eight Award Shortlists

Stefan LepkowskiNewcastle-based PR and marketing consultancy, Karol Marketing, is celebrating after being shortlisted for eight awards in this year’s regional Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards.

The award-winning agency, which has won the CIPR PR Consultancy Team of the Year Award five times, has been shortlisted for Regional Campaign of the Year and Best Event for the launch of authentic Thai restaurant Thaikhun at Intu Metrocentre; Best Corporate and Business Communications Campaign for its work with Norwegian mountaineering clothing brand Bergans of Norway; and Best Event and Best Low Budget Campaign for its work with the Sviluppumbria Umbrian Tourist Board launching The Way of St Francis guide book. It has also been shortlisted for Best Consumer Relations Campaign, Best Low Budget Campaign and Best Media Relations Campaign for its James Bond themed launch of FishSpy; a new underwater camera.

The CIPR PRide Awards recognise the outstanding talents and achievements of public relations practitioners across the UK’s regions and nations. They are the most prestigious and rigorous awards of their kind.
