The Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees, Councillor Ken Dixon, hosted the popular fundraising event at Wynyard Golf Club on 15 July, bringing together 38 teams competing for the top prize.
The event was held to raise money for the Mayor’s chosen charities Bowel Cancer UK, who are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer, Butterwick Hospice, who care for as many people as possible who are living with a progressive life-limiting illnessand Meningitis Now, the only charity dedicated to fighting meningitis in the UK.
The winners were Geoff Walsh, Jim Hibbert and Rob Coulson from Wynyard Hall with Paul Mackings as their team captain.
A raffle was also held to raise money towards the final figure of £9,500.
