Teesside Hospice and a number of local solicitors have joined forces to present Teesside Hospice Will Month. Throughout January 2019, participating solicitors* are offering a simple Will writing service whereby usual solicitors’ fees will be waived and instead a customer donation to Teesside Hospice will be made.
Every day, Teesside Hospice needs to raise £6,000 to provide vital care services to those with a life-limiting illness across our region. This January, the hospice is hoping that Teesside Hospice Will Month will help to raise essential funds and will encourage people to consider whether they have made adequate plans for their future so that family members are taken care of should they experience any life changing circumstances.
All donations of £80 for a simple single Will or £120 for a simple double Will are to be forwarded to Teesside Hospice at the end of the campaign and will be used to support patients and their families; ensuring that the hospice extends its care within the community and across the region. To take advantage of these reduced Will costs, whilst supporting Teesside Hospice, people are advised to book an appointment with participating solicitors as soon as possible.
Debbie Coulson, Marketing & Fundraising Manager, said “It’s so easy to keep putting off organising your Will, yet it’s such an important thing to do. Anyone’s life can change at any time and we understand the huge impact that this can have on family members. By joining forces with some reputable, local solicitors, we are delighted to be able waive the usual solicitors fees to those who need to make a Will. It’s great that this campaign can help local families feel more reassured about their future plans and, through the donations, together we can ensure that nobody has to face a life-limiting illness alone”.
