Lucy Mecklenburgh to appear at intu Metrocentre student night

FORMER TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh is heading to intu Metrocentre this Wednesday (September 28) to share her fitness and diet tips with students.

The Essex favourite will be appearing at intu Metrocentre’s Student Night as part of a whirlwind national tour to promote her Results With Lucy programme.

During her visit, Lucy will be based in a dorm-room set in the Town Square to demonstrate how simple it is to follow her online fitness programme at home – even for students living in halls.

Students will get the chance to meet and take photos with the star, and she will also be picking the winners of a raffle, which will be open to anyone who spends more than £25 in the centre on the night.

The intu Metrocentre student night will give students the chance to bag a host of exclusive discounts with more than 75 offers from top retailers and restaurants including River Island and Barburrito.

Capital North East will also be on hand with a selection of games and entertainment and the chance to win spot prizes, and students will also get a taster of some of the region’s hottest club nights with top DJs on the decks.

Capital has also put together the ultimate student survival package which includes an intu Gift Card, restaurant and cinema vouchers and free Krispy Kreme doughnuts which one lucky student will win on the night.

The event will begin at 4pm and is one of a number of similar student nights being organised by intu centres nationwide.

Karen Carr, regional marketing manager, intu north said: “This is the third year of intu Metrocentre’s Student Night

Last year we welcomed more than 5000 students and we’re hoping for even more this year.

“We are very excited that Lucy Mecklenburgh can join us to share the secrets of her Results With Lucy programme as well as meet fans and students.

“We’ve teamed up with some of the country’s best known brands and great live acts to give the North East’s student population a night to remember.”
