Milltek Sport, the leading premium performance exhaust manufacturer, is set to make the acclaimed Porsche 911 (992) even more dynamic with its new, handmade titanium Signature Series system.
Available for OPF/GPF equipped vehicles only, the new system promises to elevate Porsche’s iconic sportscar to the next level – offering significant improvements in acoustics, aesthetics and driving dynamics.
Compatible with Carrera 2 and Carrera 4S models, Milltek Sport’s Signature Series 992 system is a direct replacement for the original rear silencer. The system is also significantly lighter than factory, with the rear silencer bypass alone generating a 9kg saving.
All of Milltek Sport’s stainless-steel systems are designed for optimum durability, performance, driving dynamics and aesthetics – with each exhaust constructed from highly durable and anti-magnetic T304L ‘aircraft grade’ stainless steel which is less susceptible to discoloration. Mandrel bending ensures full flow bends for better gas flow, with an increased bore to ensure ultimate performance without the loss of mid-range torque.
As with all Milltek Sport exhausts, the Porsche 911 (992) Signature Series system has been designed, developed and manufactured in-house in Derby, UK. Additional development has taken place at the company’s German R&D facility, based near the Nürburgring race circuit.
The 992 Signature Series joins the selection of new Porsche performance exhaust systems in the Milltek Sport range, including the Macan GTS, Boxster 718 GTS, Cayman 718 GT4, 911 991.1 Carrera S models and 911 992 GT3.
The company is now preparing to extend its Signature Series Titanium line-up for the 992-generation GT3.
Milltek Sport has also recently opened a brand-new facility in Alcoa, Tennessee, as part of a major $10.5m, five-year strategic expansion in the USA. Its flagship UK site is growing too, with the launch of a new £2.5m Advanced Manufacturing Facility and R&D Centre announced earlier this year.
