Beckie Andrews, from Ingleby Barwick, Teesside, has been appointed marketing coordinator at Wynyard Hall Hotel and Spa, Tees Valley.

Along with promoting all aspects of the hotel’s operation to the corporate, wedding and leisure sectors, Beckie will be a key member of the team marketing the venue’s recently opened Walled Garden development and its Grand Marquee.

The Walled Garden, which is planted with more than 3000 roses, also comprises a visitor centre, shop and café, while the adjacent marquee is one of the region’s largest, self-contained function spaces, with a 700-person capacity for weddings and corporate functions.

Beckie, a Teesside University graduate, joins Wynyard Hall from corporate uniform supplier Simon Jersey Ltd, where she was a digital marketing executive, having earlier launched niche clothing brand, Not For Ponies.

“We are delighted to welcome Beckie to the team,” said Wynyard Hall managing director Allison Antonopoulos.

“She has a proven track record in web-based marketing and social media and will bring a combination of creativity and digital expertise to the role.”

“I couldn’t be joining Wynyard Hall at a more exciting time,” said Beckie. “The Walled Garden is already set to become one of the region’s biggest tourist attractions and there are further developments in the pipeline.”
