A breathtaking immersive art experience which brings the work of Vincent van Gogh to life in mesmerising and moving fashion is heading to the North East this summer.
Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience comes to Utilita Arena Newcastle from Sunday 12 July to Sunday 9 August 2026, transforming the arena floor into a 10,000 sq ft world of colour, light and sound.
Tickets go on pre-sale from 10:00am on Monday 9 March until 11:59pm on Wednesday 11 March, offering early bookers a special saving. The pre-sale also provides access to exclusive offers and first pick of the best available days and time slots, ahead of general sale opening at 10:00am on Friday 13 March via https://www.beyondvangogh.
The Newcastle visit coincides with the final few weeks of the summer term and the start of the school summer holidays, making it the perfect cultural day out for families, couples and art lovers across the North East.
With Mother’s Day falling on 15 March, pre-sale tickets also make a thoughtful and memorable gift for art-loving mums seeking a unique experience to enjoy later in the year.
Having already captivated millions worldwide, the spectacular event will bring more than 300 of Van Gogh’s iconic works to life using cutting-edge projection technology and a specially curated musical soundtrack.
Visitors will be able to meander through masterpieces including The Starry Night, Sunflowers and Café Terrace at Night as the artworks come to life, swirling and blooming across walls and floors, creating an awe-inspiring and fully immersive experience.
Produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group, Beyond Van Gogh blends art and technology to offer a powerful and accessible way to experience one of history’s most influential artists.
Alongside the main immersive gallery, visitors will exit through a beautifully designed reflection space, including a striking Sunflower Alley inspired by Van Gogh’s most celebrated works.
Special sessions will also take place throughout the run, including:

· Adult-only evening viewings
· Weekend immersive yoga experiences
This one-of-a-kind exhibition will take place on the arena floor at Utilita Arena Newcastle – one of the region’s leading entertainment venues – bringing a new kind of large-scale cultural experience to the city.
