Fresh fruit and vegetables, special South African snacks and delicious cakes from local independent traders lead the food offering at Dundas Shopping Centre’s Food and Craft Market this weekend – Friday 28 and Saturday 29 September.

Ferguson’s Fruit and Vegetables, run by experienced greengrocer Andrew Ferguson, takes a stall at the monthly market as part of a trial of its fresh products in the shopping centre, as does a new florists called Made With Love.  Joining them at the Saturday market are South African (SA) Delicacies and Curious Cakes and Creations.

Craft stalls on both days will include Dundas Food and Craft Market regulars Pretty Little Doll, Over the Rainbow, Tessie’s Crafts, Ellenswood Pyrography, Stitch and Sew and Janes Crafts, as well as newcomers Starlight Studios, selling ornamental glass creations and Sparklzz, offering costume jewellery. They will be joined by Saturday regulars Sci-Fi Station and Indigo Storm.

“The Dundas Food and Craft market brings the best of food and gifts from visiting businesses, alongside our growing number of regular market traders,” says Dundas Market Manager David Harris, “with fresh fruit and vegetables, and flowers, now available in the shopping centre for the first time.”

Dundas Indoor Market is located in the Dundas Shopping Centre where all the shops offer value for money, from national brands like B&M, Fulton Foods and Cooplands to well-known local independents like The Festival Shop, Tik Tok, Homefair Blinds, Buckshees Military Surplus, LD Printing and Miss Unique.

Customer car parking is available in the 178-space Dundas Shopping Centre basement car park, accessed off Wilson Street.  Further information is available from or via @DundasShopping on Facebook and Twitter.
