The DMPATL Board of Directors will work in unison with the DMPRFC General Committee to take the club forward within its ambitious and exciting plans.
The new DMPATL Board of Directors will include Tony Copsey (Non-Executive Director), Andy Preston (Non-Executive Director), Piers Mitchell (Non-Executive Director), John McCullagh (Non-Executive Director), Mike Keeligan (Chairman), Daniel Hunter (Finance Director), Lee Rust (Managing Director) and Norman Jackson (advisor to the board).
Mike Keeligan, Mowden Park Chairman, commented:
‘’We are delighted to be welcoming the new board members into the Mowden Family. Prior to this formal arrangement they have all already shown substantial support for the Club. Lee Rust, our Managing Director, has done a first class job with engaging and pulling together the new DMPATL Board.’’
‘’We have some exceptionally exciting future plans as a club and the calibre and buy-in of the new board members is an indicator to the scale and legitimacy of these plans. We are extremely enthused by the skill sets now available at director level from both the DMPRFC General Committee and DMPATL Board of Directors. We may look to add to the DMPATL Board as we further develop.’’
Tony Copsey commented
‘’I’m delighted to be formally joining the clubs journey. Mowden Park represents one of the most exciting sports-business propositions within the UK at present, not just from a professional rugby perspective but also from community, grass roots rugby and facility perspectives.’’
‘’The Club has already made some remarkable progress, not least in attracting the New Zealand All Blacks and delivering one of the most high profile open sessions of the Rugby World Cup. Myself and the other board members are looking forward to developing and supporting the Clubs bright future.’’
