The Mussel Club Expands

A North East networking organisation has added to its team as it gears up for growth.

The Mussel Club has appointed Sarah Spence as head of marketing as the company looks to expand its offering to businesses.

The company, which recently turned 10, holds regular social networking events to help companies in the region build lasting relationships and will now be offering social media management to businesses across the region.

Business development manager, Matthew Cook, saw a gap in the market to utilise on helping businesses build their brand digitally, he explains:

“After listening to our clients it became clear that many businesses who outsource their social media are not sure what the return on investment is.

“By offering Sarah’s wealth of experience in marketing and digital, we will be delivering bespoke packages including social media, website content, blogs and press releases. But, we will be ensuring that our customers see real results from the activity.”

Sarah, previously communications manager for the North East BIC brings with her over 10 years of experience in communications, she said:

“The Mussel Club is a company which puts its customers first and this is an exciting time to join.  I look forward to contributing my experience and help to expand and develop the company further.”

Managing director Jeni Banks added:

“We are delighted to welcome Sarah to the team. The Mussel Club is expanding and we will be recruiting a fourth member very soon. The company is geared up for growth and it’s going to be a busy time ahead!”
