How did they do it?
The savvy shoppers have collected vouchers over the year and only had to part with £4.05! Managing to bag themselves a free Christmas dinner, Christmas trees, presents, decorations, cards, crackers and even a Christmas pudding. Ashleigh said: “Christmas is an expensive time of year, but not if you’ve got coupons and you buy throughout the year in the sales. I’ve spent next to nothing this year by collecting coupons and looking for deals and price glitches”.
Jennifer Drew – who calls herself Jennifer Drew Coupon Detective said “the prices are ridiculous at Christmas time so collecting coupons is a great way around it. I’ve had a free Christmas tree and I won’t have to pay a penny for serving up a traditional Christmas dinner. Like Ashleigh I was made redundant and we’ve both spent all year making savings on presents as well. This January we will start out 2016 Christmas present buying in the sales”.
