NEW DIRECTOR ADDS SPARK TO TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGY SPECIALISTS MANDATA

Cramlington-based transport management software specialist, Mandata has appointed a new senior director as it continues to expand its UK operations.

Steve Spark has been appointed chief commercial officer to manage the strong growth in demand for its integrated technology, which helps haulage companies control delivery management with visibility and efficiency.

A key member of the senior management and Mandata board, Steve Spark will oversee the growth of its national sales and marketing team with responsibility for new business and account management as further solutions are introduced.

Steve’s previous role was at Viewpoint, a global ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), project management and mobile solution provider to the construction sector. He brings to Mandata more than 20 years’ experience in software sales and marketing, developing and leading commercial teams to deliver sustainable revenue growth.

He said: “I’m very excited to join Mandata and to have the opportunity to work with their customers.

“I’ve spent the last 13 years leading a business that provided software solutions into the construction sector where supply chain collaboration and integration were critical, and helping contractors to improve visibility and control across their businesses.

Mandata, which employs 70 people across the UK, is looking to grow turnover to more than £8min the next 12 months and strengthening its national customer base.
