The Ford press office has welcomed Adam Kiely as new fleet administrator, taking over from Guy Willers who moved back to his Australian birth place of Adelaide last year.
Adam joins from Dagenham’s Material Planning and Logistics division, which controls supplies to the plant’s diesel assembly lines. He continued a family tradition of working at Ford, alongside his brother and retired father, following 15 years in the Metropolitan Police finishing as sergeant.
Adam, who moved from the police to Ford in 2015, works for press officer Len Keen, who oversees vehicle operations including Ford’s in-house Press Garage in Brentford, Middlesex – now solely run by team leader Gary Cuthbert following Adrian Voyce’s family move to Cornwall.
John Gardiner, Ford of Britain executive public affairs director, said: “Our new and heritage fleets are jewels in the Ford press office crown – both maintained and run by experienced Ford teams in Brentford and Dagenham respectively.
“Welcome Adam as new fleet administrator in the Ford press office, which I’ve only just taken over myself! We both look forward to meeting and talking to as many of you as possible through a busy SUV, van and electrification year, while also overcoming Brexit.”
Adam and Len’s current contact information follows. The press office team will move to Ford of Britain’s new HQ adjacent to the company’s Dunton Technical Centre, Laindon, near Basildon, Essex in the second half of the year, when updated contacts for all the team will be shared.
