New starters at fast growing financial firm

A rapidly expanding financial services business has added three new members to its growing ranks.

Mortgage and Protection Consultants, Rachael Bolam, 30, from Chester-le-Street and Paul Cooksley, 35, from Whitley Bay, along with Protection Advisor Stephen Dixon, 29, from Sherburn, join 313 Financial at an exciting time.

The company, which only began trading form the spare bedroom of one of its directors in 2016, is set to see turnover more than double in its third year and its team has grown form just two people to eleven.

Currently based in offices on the Meadowfield Industrial Estate, plans are in place to move to larger premises – capable of accommodating the company’s ambitious plans for further expansion – in the coming months.

As well as offering independent mortgage advice and organising applications, 313 can source and arrange home, life and health insurance policies as well as helping customers to set up wills, trusts or powers of attorney. A runner up at the prestigious NatWest Local Hero Mortgage Awards – held earlier this year – the business is already attracting much attention for its fresh and innovative approach.

Rachael has fifteen years’ experience working in both financial services and the mortgage industry. She has previously worked as an insurance and financial planning consultant with a leading high street bank and as a mortgage advisor with a North East based estate agency. She found out about 313 Financial on social media.

Rachael says: “Like many of the company’s clients, I found out about 313 Financial on Facebook and was immediately intrigued by the way the business was connecting with customers and its progressive outlook.

“The modern systems and professional approach make this an ambitious company with a clear vision of where it wants to go and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Paul, who has over five years’ experience in the sector and has worked as a mortgage consultant with a large, national firm, was impressed with what he had heard about 313 Financial and was delighted when an opportunity to become involved with the business arose.

He says: “I’d heard from other people in the industry how well 313 was doing and that it was a company that was going places. The structure of the business – harnessing technology and a dedicated support team to deliver a streamlined service – and the drive of Directors Jordan and Paul, convinced me that this would be an excellent company to work for.

“With a growing portfolio of both private and business clients, I’m looking forward to supporting people to make the right choices when it comes to mortgages, re-mortgages and insurance needs.”

This will be Stephen’s first role in the financial services sector and he will assist the company with making sure each client and their property is properly protected and that they are aware of the consequences of having no insurance in place.

Jordan Sanders, Director with 313 Financial, said: “We are delighted to add two very experienced and skilled members to our team and feel certain that they can play a key role in our continued growth and development as a business.

“In addition, Stephen coming on board will help to support both the directors and the admin team with clients home and life insurance needs and once fully trained, we’re sure will be a great asset to the business.”
