Newcastle based global facilities management company, Autonomous FM, has been shortlisted by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) for a national innovation award.

Autonomous FM is competing in the category of ‘Innovation in Products and Services’ with their unique technology and analytics led facilities management service.

Mark Taylor, Business Development Manager, said “We’re pleased to be recognised for the positive changes we are looking to bring in to the facilities management industry.

“As a new provider in the market, our independent approach and use of new technology really appeals to companies and sets us ahead of our competitors.”

Autonomous FM moved to Newcastle in October 2017 to take advantage of the regions language skills, supporting a 24/7 multi-lingual global service centre.

Since moving to Newcastle, Autonomous FM has experienced a high level of growth, and more strategic appointments are expected in the next six months to support the service centre and management operations.

Gary Barbour, Director, also commented “The response since moving our main operation to Newcastle has been great.

“Our customers are impressed with the high level of service provided, and we are excited about the continued growth of Autonomous FM in the region.”

The BIFM Awards 2018 are being held on Monday 17th October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
