Newcastle firm shortlisted for two Great British Entrepreneur awards

Following a period of significant growth, global energy and rail recruitment specialist, Samuel Knight International, has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2019 NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards: ‘Scale-Up’ entrepreneur of the year and ‘Service Industries’.

The awards, which were founded in 2013, celebrate the incredible stories that have taken entrepreneurs to where they are today, regardless of size or turnover. This year, there are 60 finalists across the region in 11 categories, and for the first time ever, the awards will take place in Newcastle for the initial North East regional final.

Commenting on the nomination, Steve Rawlingson, Group CEO at Samuel Knight said:

“I’m incredibly happy and proud that Samuel Knight international is among so many other fantastic firms in the finals of this year’s Great British Entrepreneur Awards. All of our employees possess an entrepreneurial mindset, and since our inception, the team has worked so hard to achieve business growth and success. It’s great to see that our effort has been recognised, and with our recent expansion in the US and Middle East, there’s certainly no intention of slowing down.”
