Newcastle Service Advisor rewarded for excellent work

Vertu Honda Newcastle is celebrating after a member of its team was chosen as Vertu Motors’ Company Person of the Year.

Neil Riddell, Service Advisor at Honda Newcastle, part of Vertu Motors Plc, was picked from thousands of colleagues to be named ‘Company Person of the Year’ at the Group’s annual management awards held at the luxurious Oulton Hall on the outskirts of Leeds.

Vertu Motors plc, the UK’s fifth largest motor retailer, which owns Bristol Street Motors, Macklin Motors, Farnell Land Rover, Vertu Volkswagen and Vertu Honda, honours talented managers from across the Group at its annual CEO Awards dinner, hosted by CEO Robert Forrester.

Robert Forrester, CEO of Vertu Motors plc said: “Neil is a true advocate of both Vertu Motors and Honda, exemplifying the values and principles that underpin our Group’s culture. The team at Newcastle Honda see Neil as a source of professional advice and support and he provided great backing to his manager Sean throughout the course of 2016.

“Our Service Advisors have to ensure great customer service and outcomes. Neil has delivered a sterling performance this year and deserves this recognition, which is an integral part of our business.”

Collecting his award, Neil said: “I’m so pleased to receive this award and to help to contribute to the success story of Vertu Motors. I would also like to thank the hard work of the Vertu Honda Newcastle team as a whole.”
