A North East-based letting agency has appointed a new property manager as it continues to expand its services across the country.

Independent letting agency, My Property Box, which has begun to let properties in Nottingham, Leeds and Newcastle with further growth into other regions on the cards, has recruited Nadia Hussein to oversee the property management department.

Nadia brings with her a wealth of knowledge in the lettings industry, having gained 14 years’ experience after working in one of Middlesbrough’s leading agencies.

She said: “My Property Box is a firm which I am thoroughly delighted to have joined and I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to help take the business to the next level.

“The role offers some exciting challenges for me but I believe my extensive experience, mixed with my passion for PropTech and the Company’s incredibly supportive team, will be the perfect recipe to develop the firm.”

The business, which offers a variety of letting offerings ranging from advertise only to fully managed services as well bespoke packages for landlords, is aiming to continue to grow its digital presence, following the launch of the firm’s new app.

The mobile technology, which was developed by fellow Darlington-based firm Muves, gives the agency the tool to lower the costs of listing a property online allowing savings to be passed onto vendors and landlords.

Managing Director of My Property Box Ben Quaintrell believes that with the Company’s new app and property manager, he can continue to drive the business forward.

He said: “I’m incredibly pleased to have Nadia on board and her expertise is going to be key in helping the team develop new ideas to enhance our services and offerings.

“Nadia will be a great asset to the team and with a property manager in place, it means I can now spend more time on business development and future expansion plans.”
