North East Chocolatier Sponsors Annual School Easter Competition with Cracking Prizes

WESTFIELD School’s annual Easter egg decorating competition saw leading chocolatier Sweetdreams Ltd, based in Northumberland, sponsor this year’s prizes.

Sweetdreams Ltd, the creator behind Choc Nibbles and Chock Lick, was the event’s first ever sponsor, as the independent girls’ school in Gosforth took the Easter competition to the next level.

Cathy Stephenson, director at the chocolate factory which supplies chocolates across the UK and Europe said: “We were delighted to sponsor this year’s Easter egg decorating competition and were seriously impressed with the efforts made by everyone who took part.

“The annual event saw pupils work extremely hard to make their seasonal creations stand out, and the winners really went that extra mile to make their displays the best of the best.”

The competition saw an overall winner receive a bundle of chocolate treats from Sweetdreams Ltd, including Choc Nibbles, Choc Lick and a selection of other chocolatey goodies just in time for Easter. Three winners from Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 were also awarded prizes.

Mr Walker, headmaster at Westfield School said: “Our annual Easter egg decorating competition brings friends and families together to get creative, and most importantly have fun. This year we were grateful to have Sweetdreams Ltd sponsor, supplying some fantastic prizes for our talented winners.”

Westfield School is an independent day school for girls aged from three to 18-years-old in the heart of Gosforth, and was founded in 1960.
