North East Connected

North East design agency under new management

JAK Inc’s latest proprietor will be looking to further strengthen the firm by improving its service offerings, including by adding content writing and SEO to its current repertoire.

Having already established himself in London, the young entrepreneur is also confident his existing business connections will be invaluable for JAK Inc’s future development.

Talking about the new structure, Benjamin said: “It’s a really exciting time for not only myself but also everyone already involved with JAK Inc.

“JAK already has a great reputation and has been growing year-on-year. I’ll be taking things to the next level both locally and globally, with my focus on ensuring customers are always happy.

“What’s more, now we will be able to offer the complete creative package; from setting up a company through to maintaining and growing its online presence.”

Headquartered in Chester-le-Street and now with offices in Stockton-on-Tees and London, under the forward-thinking businessman, the agency will provide print and design, web design and development, search engine optimisation (SEO), social media marketing, copywriting, proofreading, app development, brand development, direct marketing, email marketing, photography and video production.
The deal, which also sees the former Teesside University student take control of In&Around Magazine, adds to his enviable list of accomplishments – most notably the establishment in 2009 of his own SEO copywriting company, Precise English Ltd, which enjoys continuing success.

Former JAK Inc MD Andy Knowles, who has moved on to pursue fresh opportunities, believes Benjamin’s experience sets up both him and the Company for a successful future.

He said: “Benjamin already has several years’ experience as the MD of a lucrative company, so JAK Inc is certainly in capable hands with him at the helm.

“He will definitely be able to move the Company in a positive direction, adding different skills and experience to its existing status that has been built up over the years.”

Having already taken on two new recruits, the Teessider aims to continue expanding JAK Inc, although he is conscious of keeping the firm local.

He added: “In the future, I hope the business will still very much be a local company, but with offices around the world.”
