North East Solicitors beaming up to a new office

VISITORS TO the new offices of a leading North East firm of solicitors will get the opportunity to “live long and prosper” – when they come face to face with a unique piece of artwork.

Durham’s EMG Solicitors has recently moved to new offices at the city’s Abbeywoods Business Park, to allow for the company’s continued growth.

And taking pride of place in the office entrance is Spocky Dog – the Star Trek-inspired Great North Snowdog designed by Hilary Sanderson.

Company managing director, Emma Gaudern, bought the dog at the auction at Sage Gateshead which was the final part of the Great North Snowdogs Trail.

And now clients will be greeted by Spocky whenever they arrive at the Abbey House office.

“We have loved the snowdogs trail as a family,” said Emma. “And it was fantastic to get the opportunity to own one and to support such a good cause as St Oswald’s Hospice and their children’s services.

“We are sure this will be a huge talking point for anyone who comes to see us and we can honestly say we have boldly gone where no solicitors have ever gone before!”

EMG Solicitors was set up in 2014 by Emma Gaudern, who is nationally renowned for her Court of Protection work.

The firm now offers a range of services, including all aspects of family law, divorce, Powers of Attorney, deputyship, Wills, trusts and probate, personal injury trusts and disputes and conveyancing.
