MILLER Homes has turned to budding young artists in the North East to help it spread festive cheer this year, with its annual children’s Christmas card design competition.

The leading housebuilder asked youngsters across the region to get creative and design a picture that showcased what they love most about Christmas and their home – whether it is watching the snow fall outside through the window, or presents under the tree.

Isabelle Ferry, aged 13, who lives on the housebuilder’s Park View development in Gateshead, submitted the winning entry, as chosen by a panel of judges. Her design featured on the front of Miller Homes North East’s 2017 Christmas card, which was given to homeowners moving into their new Miller home in December and to corporate partners.

Andrew Somerville, regional sales manager at Miller Homes North East, said: “This year, we wanted to give children living across the North East the opportunity to help us celebrate the festive season. A card designed for us by one of the region’s artistic youngsters adds a great personal touch as we send our well wishes to our new homeowners and regional business partners this Christmas.

“We received a fantastic level of entries this year, and we were very happy to send out Isabelle’s winning design as our Christmas card in the North East.”
