Northumbrian Water seeks like-minded innovators at VentureFest North East

Britain’s Utility company of the year is on the lookout for like-minded innovators to support its bold plans for growth.

Northumbrian Water wants to tap into the talent, creativity and expertise of the region’s SMEs when it takes part in the VentureFest North East conference later this month.

Organised and delivered by the Innovation Super Network, Venturefest is designed to connect businesses, corporates, investors, academics and advisors with specific expertise in innovation. This year’s event will take place at St James’ Park in Newcastle on November 14.

Alastair Tawn, Business Transformation Lead at Northumbrian Water, said: “The water industry faces many complex challenges and we’re always looking for new technology and ideas to help us deliver an unrivalled service for our customers.

“VentureFest provides a perfect opportunity for us to find people and businesses that we could potentially work with in the future to bring about ambitious improvements to the way we manage water and the environment.

“I’d encourage businesses of all sizes and from all sectors to come along and find out more and if you’re already attending, then make sure you speak to us; we can’t wait to explore the exciting opportunities that the day will bring.”
