The last collections take place week commencing 30 November before being suspended over the winter months. Alternate green bin collections restart week commencing 22 February, 2016.
A special green bin collection for garden waste and christmas trees which must be placed in the bin and chopped up if necessary so that the lid is closed for safety to the crew will take place week commencing 11 January.
Every household should now have received a bin tag listing refuse and recycling collection dates for winter, christmas and bank holidays during 2016 Anyone who has not received one should contact the council on 01609 779977 or check on www.hambleton.gov.uk for exact collection dates.
