Open Market at Thirsk on May Day

Anyone visiting Thirsk on May Day will not only be able to buy fresh and local products but also admire the ‘yarnbombings’ that decorate the town for the Tour de Yorkshire.

For Hambleton District Council who run the normal weekly markets in Thirsk is holding an ‘Open Market’ on Monday – 2 May.

All traders whether they are regular traders or casual traders are being encouraged to pitch up and book a place.

And it is hoped that shoppers will venture out and support their local economy.

For further information or to book a stall call Wendy Cullen, Technical Officer (Markets) on 01609 767162 or wendy.cullen@hambleton.gov.uk
