Osbornes Celebrates Summer In True Stateside Style

Osbornes, Osborne Road, Jesmond, Newcastle, has launched a new range of hardshakes, which combine ice cream, milk, crushed ice and a variety of popular liqueurs.

The new hardshakes offer a unique twist on top US desserts, and include the Caramel Cola Float, made with Stoli Salted Karamel, Pepsi, ice and vanilla ice cream.

The menu, will also include the Awesome Oreo, made with Stoli Salted Karamel, cacao liqueur, sugar syrup, Oreos, milk, chocolate ice cream and crushed ice and the Banana Boat, with banana liqueur, Stoli Chocolate Kokonut, milk, vanilla ice cream and crushed ice.

There will also be more unusual combinations, such as The Mountie, a combination of Jim Bean Maple, Frangelico, milk, vanilla ice cream crushed ice and flaked almonds.

“The new hardshakes are perfect for the summer season,” said Atul Malhotra, director of Malhotra Group PLC, which owns Osbornes.

“Combining the traditional 50s milkshakes with today’s popular liqueurs means our guests can enjoy a drink and a dessert in one.

“Osbornes already serves up first-class food and drinks and its new hardshake menu gives our guests the chance to try something more unusual.”

The new range of hardshakes will accompany Osbornes’ Stateside menu, which offers diners some of America’s classic dishes and desserts.
