Tyne Bank Brewery, an independent brewery and tap room, has partnered with Ouseburn Farm to launch a new series of limited-edition craft ales with all proceeds going to the charity.

The series described as; ‘for the idealists, the dreamers and the kindhearted’, will consist of four limited edition seasonal beers throughout the year, with the first being a pale ale brewed with the classic combination of apple and cinnamon, using apples picked by Ouseburn Farm trainees.

‘Ap’ll do Nicely’ will be available to taste at the official launch event on Wednesday 18thDecember at Tyne Bank Brewery.

Julia Austin, founder of Tyne Bank Brewery, said: “We’re excited to announce the launch of our first charity collaboration with Ouseburn Farm. The farm plays such an important part of our community and we are humbled to be chosen as the brewing partner.

“We hope that the local community will come along to the event to taste the delicious new beer and enjoy some farm-cooked food, and at the same time enjoy giving back to a heart-warming appeal.”

Stef Anderson, Partnerships Officer at Ouseburn Farm, says: “This is such a fantastic partnership for us as it marks our first craft beer series featuring ingredients from the farm.

“For Christmas our farm trainees picked the apples with Tyne Bank brewers and these are now in the beer and of course, any brewery waste then gets used in compost for the farm.

“The event is inclusive and open to everyone and will be a perfect start to the party season.

“The next beer is currently being developed to be ready in time for Easter so watch this space as to what ingredients have been used.”

Tickets cost £10 and include the limited-edition apple and cinnamon pale ale, Ap’ll Do Nicely, an Ouseburn Farm reared pork sausage roll (vegan option available) and a Tyne Bank Brewery tour.
