North East Connected

A LEADING North East spa is taking the stress out of finding the perfect gift for Father’s Day.

This year, the Spa at Ramside, at County Durham’s Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa is inviting guests to give their dad the gift of pampering on Sunday 16 June.

And the spa has a number of treatments to choose from, including the Deep Muscle Massage, which can be booked with or without hot stones and is designed to ease deep-seated tension and muscular stress.

Specialised techniques are used to target specific areas such as a stiff neck or painful lower back, priced at £80 for 60 minutes or £100 for 90 minutes.

Another option for hardworking dads is the Stress Buster – a condensed back, face and scalp massage.

The 45-minute treatment particularly helps those who suffer from tension headaches or neck strain by relieving tight muscles and costs £65.

And to keep him feeling pampered even after his spa visit is over, there is the ESPA Men’s Skincare Experience, priced at £40.

The set includes an invigorating facial wash, shave mud, the hydrator and a post-shave rescue balm, to help keep his skin looking and feeling healthy and revitalised.

“Father’s Day is a great opportunity to treat your dad to something he might not buy for himself,” said Joanne Green, spa director.

“The two massages we are suggesting this year are very popular and a fantastic way to give dad a well-earned break.

“And because we all know how important it is to look after your skin, the ESPA skincare set is the gift that keeps on giving – with all the essentials to keep dad feeling refreshed.”
