The Education Network recruits teachers, teaching assistants, nursery nurse staff and SEN (special educational needs) specialists and matches them with schools and colleges looking for staff, be it for supply work for short-term contracts or long term, permanent roles.
The investment in new premises within Victoria House on Albert Road is the fourth Education Network office to open in the region and 14th nationally.
The new Middlesbrough office demonstrates the rapid growth of the business since launching its Newcastle office in 2011, followed by an office in Durham in 2013 and one in Northumberland which opened its doors in June this year.
In four short years The Education Network has seen its turnover rise from £600k to a projected turnover of £11.5m in 2015. The business employs 33 experienced education professionals to help schools get the best possible teachers.

The Middlesbrough investment has also led to the appointment of Julie Skipp, a highly experienced education recruitment consultant from Thornaby, with a full-time remit to manage the new office with support from Lewis Price, regional manager for The Education Network based in the Durham Office.
