“Ryedale District Council’s residents and commercial waste customers are reminded that there will be some changes to their refuse and recycling services over the Christmas holiday period and every effort has been made to minimise any disruption to these important services” said Councillor Luke Ives, Chairman of Policy and Resources Committee, “Residents can leave out extra waste and recycling during the Christmas period and a downloadable calendar providing residents with details of their collections to the end of March 2018 is also available on the Council’s website – www.ryedale.gov.uk.”

“Residents are also reminded that there are no garden waste collections in December, January or February.  Christmas trees can be cut up and placed in your garden waste bin ready for collection in March or dropped off at your nearest household waste recycling centre. “

“Additionally, all our commercial waste customers will receive an email or letter with full details of their service changes.  I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year”.
