Orders open for new Renault 5+ and Renault 4+ versions,
equipped with French-made battery and additional spec
- Renault 5+ and Renault 4+ versions fitted with 52kWh battery sourced from new gigafactory in Douai, France are eligible for maximum £3,750 Electric Car Grant (ECG), and available to order with immediate effect
- New Renault 5+ range consists of R5 techno+, iconic five+ and Roland Garros+ versions, all available with 52kWh battery and enhanced specification, with prices starting from £23,945 (including £3,750 ECG saving)
- New Renault 4+ range features R4 evolution+, techno+ and iconic+ versions, all powered by 52kWh battery and with enhanced specification; prices starting from £23,445 (including £3,750 ECG saving)
- R5+ upgrades include techno+ versions getting a two-tone paint option and iconic five+ and Roland Garros+ versions getting a Harman Kardon® stereo as standard
- R4+ upgrades include evolution+ models getting new 18-inch steel wheel design, techno+ getting a two-tone paint option as standard and iconic+ getting a Harman Kardon® stereo as standard
- R5 models powered by 40kWh batteries, Renault Megane and Renault Scenic continue to be available with £1,500 ECG saving

Renault 5 and Renault 4 are now available to order with the full £3,750 Government Electric Car Grant (ECG) saving.
All eligible R5s will have the longer-range 52kWh battery option, with techno+ models costing from £23,945 with the ECG applied, iconic five+ from £25,945 and Roland Garros+ from £26,945.
With R4 only offered with a 52kWh battery, the entire range will be available with the full saving, with evolution+ versions costing from £23,455, techno+ from £25,945 and iconic+ from £27,9455.
The highest-level grant applies to R5 and R4 models carrying the ‘+’ designation, which signifies that they are fitted with batteries sourced from Renault Group’s newly opened Douai gigafactory, and which is run in partnership with AESC, and part of the sustainability-focused Electri-city car production hub in northern France.
The £3,750 ECG grant saving is possible because of Renault Group’s long-term commitment to hitting Science Based Target Initiative (SBTI) standards and the new Douai gigafactory meeting the UK Government’s most stringent environmental criteria.

To differentiate the latest line-up, and in response to early customer feedback, R5+ versions will receive trim enhancements as standard: techno+ versions will get a contrasting black roof, while iconic five+ and Roland Garros+ versions receive a Harman Kardon® stereo.
