Renault Twingo E-Tech electric Gears up for a Busy 2026

Twingo E-Tech electric and Twingomania at the Brussels Motor Show
It’s all go for Renault Twingo E-Tech electric! Following its reveal in November 2025, the electric city car rewriting the rules of its segment is making its way to Belgium for the start of the new year. From 9 to 18 January, it will be flaunting its cheery, playful personality on the Renault stand at the Brussels Motor Show, alongside Clio, Renault 4 E-Tech electric, Renault 5 E-Tech electric and Renault 5 Turbo 3E, among others. This first public event will be an opportunity for visitors to discover its practical features and modular design, including: independent, sliding rear seats, and boot space of up to 360 litres.

Marking the event, Twingo E-Tech electric will be displayed alongside the six mobility objects making up the “Twingomania” programme. Developed by European start-ups promoting more sustainable mobility, they take us towards a more responsible future without compromising on the joys of travelling in style. Each one features design cues from Twingo E-Tech electric, such as the colour Absolute Green or the characteristic arch-shape of the headlamps.

These six objects are:

Twingo Expo and Twingo Festival at le défilé Renault – the Carwalk on the Champs-Elysées
During the spring, Twingo Expo is set to open at le défilé renault – the Carwalk – the brand’s iconic showcase on the Champs-Elysées in Paris – replacing the Cliorama exhibition. An experimental exhibition combining past and present, it puts Twingo E-Tech electric on show ahead of its arrival in the network, with a range of events scheduled to run until September.

The end of spring and the arrival of summer will be an opportunity for a musical celebration of Twingo E-Tech electric, again at le défilé renault – the Carwalk, with the Twingo Festival from 18 to 21 June. A line-up of artists will be performing on site over four days, as part of a programme reflecting the image of Twingo: cheery, playful and colourful.

Journalists at the wheel
Twingo E-Tech electric will also be in the media spotlight in the spring, firstly for the international road tests with the press. These tests will be an opportunity for journalists to assess the dynamic qualities of the AmpR Small platform and the right-sizing of the powertrain components: 60 kW (82 hp) motor, 27.5 kWh LFP battery and a WLTP range of 263 km. They will be able to test not only the handling, but also the exceptionally functional onboard features, with a connected experience unique in its class, and wide range of accessories creating a bright and cheerful interior vibe.

Twingo E-Tech electric will also be part of the Renault line-up for the Roland Garros French Open from 18 May to 7 June, and for which Renault will be a premium partner for the fifth consecutive year.
