About this event
In 2022 RICS revised their Rules of Conduct for members and firms. In this lecture we’ll discuss how RICS considers that the changes made help support ethical decision making, raise awareness of the public interest remit of members of the institution and highlight the role of professional ethics in some of the challenges faced by professionals and their clients.
Christine O’Rourke is the Head of Conduct Standards for RICS, with responsibility for the Rules of Conduct and other standards relating to professional conduct. She previously led the investigation and disciplinary teams in RICS regulation, and has a background in professional regulation and complaints handling, including roles at the professional regulators for teachers, psychologists and solicitors and at the Pensions Ombudsman.
This lecture counts towards RICS members’ annual CPD requirement.
NIBE’s aspiration is to become a focal point for good business behaviour and to see the entire North East region recognised as a great place to do trustworthy, honest and transparent business.
