COMEDIAN Roy Chubby Brown will be seeing off the January blues when he heads to the region in the New Year.
The controversial comedian is appearing at The Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead for one night only on January 20, 2017, as part of a national tour of the UK.
The man known as the ‘bad boy of British comedy’ is generally deemed too racy for TV, so fans can only usually get to see him when he hits the road.
His shows, while not for the faint-hearted, usually sell out within days of tickets going on sale, and it is expected this one will be no different.
Born and bred in East Yorkshire, he got his big TV break on New Faces in 1970 and has gone on to become an infamous figure on Britain’s comedy circuit.
This show is strictly for over 18s only, and tickets cost £20 each. To book, or for further information call The Lancastrian Suite on 0191 460 5353 or visit the website www.thelancastriansuite.com
