Attracting more than 300 business leaders, ‘Together We Can Take On The World’, is the highlight of the Entrepreneurs’ Forum event calendar. This year’s event on 11 May features speakers including YO! Sushi founder and former BBC Dragons’ Den investor, Simon Woodroffe and Olympic Swimmer, Karen Pickering MBE.
The Forum is also proud to confirm that the ScaleUp Institute’s Board are also participating in the conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Newcastle. The first address will be given by Sherry Coutu CBE, who is a non-executive director of the London Stock Exchange and property company Zoopla, as well as being an angel investor. Sherry authored the ScaleUp Report, which was the catalyst for the private sector to create the Scaleup Institute, that she Chairs.
Institute Board member Thomas Hoegh will also take the stage. Thomas co-founded LoveFiLM, the Met Film School, and Growth Street. He is also the founder of Arts Alliance, an investment organisation with a particular focus on private media and entertainment companies, and he is also the founder of Arts Alliance Media (AAM), Europe’s leading provider of digital film distribution services dedicated to building a European digital network to deliver film to cinemas.
In addition to taking part in the full conference, the Institute is co-hosting a roundtable alongside the North East LEP, with scaleup businesses from the local area and broader partners from across the scaleup ecosystem.
